Neymar Jr. is a Brazilian professional soccer player who currently plays as a forward for Paris Saint-Germain and the Brazil national team.

Born on February 5, 1992, in Mogi das Cruzes, Brazil, Neymar began his youth career at Santos before making his professional debut for the club in 2009 at the age of 17. He quickly established himself as one of the most promising young players in the world, helping Santos win the Copa Libertadores in 2011.

In 2013, Neymar signed with FC Barcelona for a transfer fee of €86 million, becoming one of the most expensive soccer players in history at the time. During his time at Barcelona, he won numerous titles, including two La Liga titles, three Copa del Rey titles, and the UEFA Champions League. He also formed a deadly attacking trio with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, known as "MSN."

In 2017, Neymar made a controversial move to Paris Saint-Germain for a world-record transfer fee of €222 million. Since joining the club, he has won multiple domestic titles, including four Ligue 1 titles, three Coupe de France titles, and three Coupe de la Ligue titles.

Neymar is also a key player for the Brazil national team, having made his debut in 2010 at the age of 18. He has since made over 100 appearances for the team, scoring over 70 goals and helping Brazil win the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup and the 2019 Copa America.

Overall, Neymar is considered one of the best soccer players in the world and has numerous individual awards to his name, including the FIFA Puskas Award, the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award, and the South American Footballer of the Year award. As of my knowledge cutoff of September 2021, he had scored over 300 goals and provided over 200 assists in his professional career.
